It was with mixed emotions I entered the motivational - inspirational speaking field. I love speaking to people one-on-one or in front of large groups and using my experiences, wisdom and humiliations to reach out and connect with my audiences. After all that I have been through in my life, personally and professionally I realized it was time to share the lessons I have learned, no matter how difficult, to help others.
Having grown up abused, neglected, and sickly, leaving home at the tender age of 16 then struggling until I entered into an abusive and neglectful marriage I still maintained my sense of humor. I broke out as a writer with a humorous newspaper column and faith-based comic strip, going on to editing and publishing the newspaper that originally ran both.
I continued my writing - producing several books and ultimately being asked to provide a chapter for the new Shark Team (of reality TV fame) book on business.
After nearly 40 years in business, I have been acknowledged as the Go-To person in a crisis, as an award-winning Positioning & Business Growth Expert, Author & Speaker. I am CEO of Expansion Lifestyles, President of the Business Advocacy Group a positioning & business growth company and on the Board of Directors of the National Veterans Chamber of Commerce, Inc. I honed my speaking skills working with Chambers, Politicians and the public at many conferences, town halls, presentations and speaking engagements.
Known for providing solutions for entrepreneurs, executives & leaders who want to: brand their brilliance, form strategic alliances, partnerships & collaborations, generate multiple streams of revenue and build relationships for marketing to small business and affluent corporations. I am experienced at finding ways for businesses and individuals to overcome the challenges of day to day business and life.
As founder of NRV CVB I was responsible for the first – award winning - campaign to highlight the NRV. I serve as an example for high-achieving men and women who want to connect, collaborate & cultivate success by providing tools to gain a competitive edge in the marketplace and to move up, move out or change directions with ease, purpose & clarity.
I excelled at setting the bar for business cooperation by providing a unique platform for leadership education, supportive networking, and customer service/ hospitality excellence.
